Aunque ya estamos oficialmente en primavera todavía nos quedan algunos días de frío (sobre todo a los que vivimos en el norte) así que no se me ocurre nada mejor que compartir un nuevo DIY de un cuello de lana y ayudaros así a terminar con vuestro stash de lana (yo voy medio regular con mi objetivo, pero no voy a desanimarme porque todavía me queda mucho año por delante...).

Although we are officially in spring there are still some cold days to come (especially for us who live in the north of Spain) so I cant find a better idea than sharing a new DIY of a wool cowl so I can help you to finish your wool stash ( I am not achieving my goal completely but I am not discouraged as I still have almost a whole year ahead...).

FREE PATTERN
Yarn: 200 gr. of bulky yarn in your favorite colour
Needles: 12mm/US17 and 80 cm /92 inches length circular needles
Stitches used: Knit and Purl
Steps:
Cast on 60 stitches (or any number multiple of 12) and join to start knitting in the round.
Repeat the following combination of stitches along 30 rounds or as many rounds you need to reach the measure you like:
Round 1: Knit 5 stitches, Purl 7 stitches (repeat until you finish the round)
Round 2: Knit 3 stitches, Purl 2 stitches, Knit 1 stitch, Purl 4 stitches, Knit 2 stitches (repeat until you finish the round)
Round 3: Knit 1 stitch, Purl 4 stitches, Knit 1 stitch, Purl 2 stitches, Knit 4 stitches
(repeat until you finish the round)
Round 4: Purl 6 stitches, Knit 5 stitches, Purl 1 stitch (repeat until you finish the round)
Round 5: Purl 4 stitches, Knit 5 stitches, Purl 3 stitches (repeat until you finish the round)
Round 6: Purl 2 stitches, Knit 5 stitches, Purl 5 stitches (repeat until you finish the round)
