Today is the last day of school for the kids which means summer is fast approaching! And with summer, comes parties, picnics, pool parties, and vacations! I took some time this year to plan out our summer trip, and while I won’t be leaving Texas I came across the various attractions St. Louis has to offer, possibly making it our destination in the future.

I gathered my top 5 favorite attractions that I would love to explore in St. Louis, what will be yours?
The Gateway Arch– You can’t visit St. Louis and not stop, let alone view the huge 630-foot world-famous stainless steel monument. This would definitely be my #1 stop to snap a few (a ton!) of family photos to share with family and friends.
Six Flags St. Louis– This theme park is sure to fun for the whole family. My favorite summers were always spent at Six Flags. Hop on the Batman The Ride for relentless loops and twists, or on Screamin’ Eagle the wooden coaster that delivers awe and inspiration along with its 10-story drops and 62 mph thrills. Enjoy live shows, concerts and more!
City Museum– Explore this museum that will bring fun for all ages with its playground filled with caves, slides and climbing apparatus made from recycled and found objects.
Saint Louis Zoo– Recognized as one of the nation’s leading zoological parks, the Saint Louis Zoo is the place to for a day full of adventure. Kids will enjoy the children’s petting zoo, getting an up-close view of many animals. Dining and souvenirs are available at many boutiques and restaurants located around the park.
Saint Louis Science Center– Find out what it’s like to venture out into the wild, journey under the sea or fly high up in the air at the four-story Omnimax Theater, a film experience unlike any other. See a thrilling space show at the Planetarium, and over 700 hands-on displays including a life-sized animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex.
